Get me out of here

I dislike London intensely. What with its grime, noise and complete absence of horizon, the place makes me feel like I'm drowning. This is me at Wood Green tube station earlier on, waiting for the connection to Kings Cross to get the fuck out of the capital.

I'm now on a gently rumbling train heading North - green as far as I can see out of the window. Beloved Northumberland here I come...

  2. Ey up Bob! Definitely - I'd have buzzed you today but it's been a flying visit to the smerk and back for a two hour meeting.

I may be down again on the 3rd December and would love to drop-in. You've ducks nearby yes? Kind of like the country then ;)

  3. Your never more than six feet from a duck, wherever you are. I'm sure I read that somewhere, or was it six inches from a rat on the tube, anyway the best thing about london is leaving it.

  4. just what is so wrong with our fabuklous capital? you never have to talk to anyone, ever. or even make eye contact with a fellow human being.

and the rat thing? that's thanks to sewers, we should know, we invented them! (+tube trains, trains full stop, industrialisation, all the ills of modern life, etc)
