Thanks Weeta! If only I could capture the reek of his damp four year old's trainers then that truly would complete 'essence of smallboy'...And yes metalkpretty - Meg got a little creeped out when she saw the photo. Woooo!
Since my boy is older, I think the smell of a nine year old male is something akin to corn chips and peanut butter cereal, lol. If he doesn't shower a faint aroma of dirty gym socks can ever-so-slightly be detected.
